It’s Time to Celebrate Together!

In every corner of the world, community celebrations play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of belonging, unity, and cultural identity among people. These gatherings serve as crucial anchors in the social fabric of societies, bringing individuals together to commemorate shared values, traditions, and achievements. Community celebrations are not just events, but essential components of societal cohesion and well-being.

By participating in and supporting these events, you can contribute to the vitality and vibrancy of our community. In a world that often feels divided, community celebrations remind us of our common bonds and shared aspirations, making these celebrations indispensable for a harmonious and flourishing society.

Please join us at Ruth’s House as we celebrate 20 years of serving the needs of our community by providing safe shelter, food, basic needs, and supportive services to women and children who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, due to domestic violence or other traumatic life circumstances.  Our mission is an important one and celebrating our success in meeting that mission is a way you can support us while helping to add to the strength of our community.

Our 20th Anniversary Celebration is specially designed to be a family event for all ages.  The celebration is free to attend and the general public is invited.  We will be celebrating at the Apple Creek Orchard on Friday August 23 from 5-9 pm.  There will be wagon rides in the orchard, yard games, food trucks and live music provided by Sawyers Dream and Mary Clare Stroh.  The evening promises to provide great family fun and an opportunity to get together one last time before the frantic activities of preparing for school to start in the fall.  Treat yourself and your whole family to a good time with great music, food and fun in an amazingly beautiful setting. Please RSVP here!
