Reflecting on 2025
December 29, 2025
As we reflect on the accomplishments and challenges we’ve faced this year, we are endlessly grateful for the support we’ve received. When SNAP benefits were unavailable, you stepped up to stock our food pantry. When we launched a new program to raise awareness for domestic violence, you participated in our events and rallied behind our cause. When our shelter was in need of everyday supplies, you showed up with boxes ready to help. Despite the obstacles we faced, this year we’ve been able to…
- Serve 30 women and 15 children at Ruth’s House, and 7 women at Sarah’s House
- Spread awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month by initiating the Purple Porch Project
- Hire a Development Manager
- Assist our residents through the government shutdown by collecting items for a food pantry
- Provide necessities like cleaning supplies and baby bottles to our residents through a supply drive
- Attend various community events hosted to raise funds for us and to help boost our mission
These trying times have brought forth an abundance of love and care within this community. In times of need, we uplift one another and take care of those who need it the most.
This holiday season, your year-end contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of the women and children we serve. Give the gift of hope by making a donation today.
