Helping Hearts

Dear Rice County Community,

Ruth’s House would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the entire community for their incredible generosity and support for our 23rd annual Helping Hearts Event. Our shelter provides transitional housing, case management services, and basic necessities for women and their families facing domestic violence, substance abuse disorder, poverty, and other challenges. Sarah’s House, our shelter in Northfield, also serves as transitional housing for women coming out of treatment.

The community demonstrated an outpour of love for our Helping Hearts event through sponsorships, donating auction items, participating in auctions, and showing up with compassion. Because of this, we were able to raise record breaking numbers this year! The funds raised will allow us to continue providing safe shelter and necessary services for vulnerable women and children.
