More than help, hope

Ruth’s House provides transitional housing in a safe, supportive and healing environment to help women and families on their way to a new beginning.

About Ruth's House

A Safe Place to Land

Domestic violence, poverty, addiction, health challenges or other issues can lead to homelessness or feeling unsafe in one's home. Whatever the cause, Ruth's House provides transitional shelter and support for women and children in crisis. If you need help, call us at 507.332.2236 or apply for housing:

National Volunteer Week

April 23rd through 29th is National Volunteer Week. Ruth’s House volunteers donate over 4,000 hours each year. That’s the equivalent in hours of two full-time staff! This allows staff to spend more time directly serving residents. We are grateful for these volunteers who lend their talents and time to make a difference in our organization and in the lives of those we serve.

Check out this month’s Volunteer Spotlight and learn about Sandy’s story at Ruth’s House.

If you would like to join our amazing team of volunteers, find out more under Volunteer.
