Ruth’s House of Hope, Inc., was founded in 2003 in Faribault, Minnesota, with a mission of providing help and hope for women and children in crisis. Ruth’s House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and a registered Minnesota charity.

Our clients may face homelessness due to domestic violence, poverty, substance abuse disorder, health challenges or other issues. We believe everyone deserves safe, permanent housing, so we offer:

• • Emergency/transitional shelter for women and families in the Rice County area
  • Sober Living space for women transitioning from in-patient treatment

Ruth’s House is a member of the Southeastern Continuum of Care and collaborates with a network of service providers to address the need for housing in our communities. We also work closely with other agencies and organizations to assist people in locating services to help stabilize themselves and their families.

Housing and So Much More

Ruth’s House provides more than just safe, comfortable housing. Residents of our transitional shelter receive food and other basic supplies, have access to 24-hour support from trained staff and volunteers, and meet weekly with a case manager.

Ruth’s House strives to support residents in achieving economic self-sufficiency through learning and skill development.
